John Piper
began his book Let the Nations Be Glad with
"Missions is
not the ultimate goal of the church. Worship is. Missions exists because
worship doesn't. Worship is ultimate, not missions, because God is ultimate,
not man."
With
this in mind, we have chosen to fill our concerts with worship
of the living God. We cannot have missions without first recognizing
who God is. We cannot begin to capture His heart for the lost
until
we have first captured His heart. And we do this, by worshiping
Him for who he is.
In this process,
we implement Christian pop songs that challenge and bring to light God's
heart for the world.
Toward the
end of the concert, we begin to share our heart for the mission field
and how our ministry is designed to help those whom God is calling
to
the field. We work with those who are being called by recommending them
to the right missions agencies so that their specific call can be nurtured.
Eventually, it is Aaron's desire that others in Latin
America will heed that same call and be God's vessel to the nations.
